Spring Fling TBA
We are working on a Spring Fling event for this Spring. Welcome the warmer weather with a Concert in the Park and visit booths from community resources and businesses. If your business, band or resource wants to get involved in this, email me ASAP jeffreymclain@gmail.com
Community Park Clean Up Day! Every Second Saturday of the Month!
Join us for clean up in the Park, every second Saturday (Starting May 9th 2009) and going through out the whole summer till November! We will be in Crystal Park, cleaning and celebrating community from 10:30am - 12:00 every second Saturday! We hope to see you there. Let's define our neighborhood!

October 11 2008 - "Family Fun Day, Block Party Style"
Free Food for the Neigbhorhood. Free Bounce House. Free Games & Prizes. Visit with Cylo (Lancaster Barnstormers Mascot) from 1:00-2:00pm. Cotton Candy, Ballons and more. Visit with the Lancaster Fire Company from 1:30-2:30. *Over 600 showed up.
April 13 2008 - Spring Cleaning Day!
Come down to Crystal Park to get the park and gardens ready for spring. We will be gardening, weeding, trash clean up, sweeping, planting some early flowers and getting the gardens ready for mulch!
April 1 2008 - S.W.A.T
Our friends at Starpoint launched a new group called S.W.A.T (South West Action Team). It is a event that the Mayor and representative of the City of Lancaster Revitalization Project will be present at, for the community to learn more about their plans for the South West Neighborhoods and allow us to ask questions! The Friends of Crystal Park will be talking about our upcoming Clean up Day!
March 4 2008 - Meet the Friends of Crystal Park!
We will be introducing ourselves to the neighborhood! Come out and learn more about who we are and what we are doing. We are guests to the Starpoint Group that meets at Rodney Park Community Center. 7:00pm. The Public is invited.
February 27, 2008 - Flier Day!
Meeting at 7:00AM at Crystal Park to hand out flier's in the community to invite people out to learn more about the Friends of Crystal Park a upcoming meeting.
May 10th 2008 - Park Event
Join us for a day of Cleaning, Mulching, Planting Flowers and a hang out time for Neighbors. We will Start at 11:00AM and go to whenever. Feel free to bring plants you want to see in the park and any tools you would like to use at the Clean up Day! We have some plants, mulch and tools supplied as well! A light picnic is planned too! So come out and make a difference, but also meet your neighbors!
June 2 2008 - Flier Day!
Meeting at 7:00AM at Crystal Park to hand out flier's in the community to invite people out to learn more about the Friends of Crystal Park a upcoming open air worship service.
June 8 - Sunday of Service & Community Picnic
The Folks of the Vineyard Church of Lancaster sponsored a open air worship service (songs of praise and a quick reflective lesson) in Crystal Park at 10:30am. After that dozens headed out into the park and neighborhood to do acts of Kindness and Service. Minor fix ups, clean ups and helping out neighbors is planned! 10:15am. The mulching Crews got 99% of the gardens weeded and mulched. Groceries got handed out in the neighborhood and the picnic was a blast!
